Woodcutting This article gives you tips about training the Woodcutting skill on
MineScape.
*NOTE: all experience rates are without any xp booster! Woodcutting is a gathering skill, and is one of the many
Skills available to free-to-play players. To progress the skill, the player can use an axe to swing at and chop down trees for logs. These logs can be used in
Firemaking,
Fletching, and Construction. As you progress in the skill, you can upgrade your axe, as well as having faster chopping speeds and better trees to chop.

Training woodcutting Levels 1-15 - Regular trees From level 1 to 15, one should only cut regular trees. You'll need to cut down about 97 logs in order to reach level 15 woodcutting. Regular trees can be found all over Gielinor. Each tree only yields one log.
Levels 15-30 - Oak trees From level 15 to 30, the player should cut oak trees. 293 logs are required to reach level 30 woodcutting.
The best spot to chop down Oak logs are near the Varrock western bank, there are 3 Oak trees close to the bank.
Levels 30-99 - Willow trees From level 30 to 99, the player should cut willow trees. Each log gives 67.5 woodcutting experience. You need to chop over 192,000 logs in order to achieve level 99 woodcutting.
The best spot to chop down Willow logs are in Draynor Village, which is very close to the bank.
Levels 45-99 - Maple trees At level 45 you can cut down maple trees (currently not added into the live game), which grants 100 experience per log. You need about 130,000 maple logs in order to achieve 99 woodcutting.
Location not added ingame just yet.
Levels 60-99 - Yew trees At level 60, players have the option of switching to yew trees, which grant 175 experience per log. Yews are a very good source of income although they take lots of time to chop down. You need about 73,000 yew logs in order to achieve 99 woodcutting.
3 Yew trees can be found behind the Varrock Palace
The best way to train woodcutting, is to start chopping down regular trees till level 15. Then go from regular trees to oak trees until level 30. Then chop down Willow trees until you achieve level 99 woodcutting. This is by far the most relaxing and fastest method out there at the moment. Also always make sure to bring your best in slot axe, to recieve maximum chop speed.
